• Patrick Pass was released after just a few days of practice. I did not think he would make the team and was a long shot at best.

• The Pats signed their fourth round pick Rich Ohrenberger to a four year deal for cheap money


• In Practice news Tank Williams who was a safety with every other team is lining up at linebacker, which gives the Pats flexibility of another cover man on passing downs. Also Alex Smith is seeing time at H Back because the Patriots do not have a true full back under fold.
