Patriots select Tavon Wilson S Illinois

By: Greg
Ahhh thats more like it...the Patriots select Tavon Wilson S Illinois and Billy does what he usually does reach for someone that no one really knows. When the pick was annouced I was asking myself WHO? I study drafts inside and out and have not heard of this guy going anywhere near the top 3 rounds, he was projected as a 7 round pick and 212th ranked prospect. Scratching my head with this one with many solid players still on the board. But as always in Bill we trust. He had to give us at least one pick to scratch the dandruff out of our locks.

Wilson is a Safety who also played CB in college. Giving the versatility that the Pats love. He played in 49 out of 50 games for Illinois.

Scouting Report from NFL Draft Scout  (NFL Draftcountdown didnt even have him ranked)
